Being admitted to hospital can be a stressful time for all the family. If you have any questions or queries do not hesitate to talk to your nurse, or the nurse in charge of the ward. |
|
Along with the nurses and doctors there are social workers and dieticians available to answer your questions and offer support while you and your child are in hospital. |
| |
| Ask your nurse if you would like to see any of the support team including the Whanau Care, Pacific Health and Chaplaincy services.
|
| |
Due to the limited number of single rooms, priority is given to patients with the greatest need. Do not assume you or your child will stay in a single room. |
| |
CF patients should be given extremely high priority, and should never share with other CF patients due to the possiblity of cross infection. For further information consult the Infection Control Guidelines. (Copies of these were distributed to all members, key medical staff and wards by Wellington Branch early in 2008) |
