This website has been created specifically to help the group of around 40 adults and children living with Cystic Fibrosis in the Wellington Region.

It is intended to be a practical resource offering information on health services and financial support available.

In Wellington essential equipment for people with CF is neither funded, nor even subsidised by the DHB. The Wellington Branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Associaton is critical in subsidising this equipment, and where possible providing it.

Wellington Branch is affiliated to, and governed by the Cystic Fibrosis Association of New Zealand (CFANZ). CFANZ has its own website which you can visit by clicking on the image below. There you can learn more about CF, NZ's most common life threatening, inherited disease.
